As a Program Officer for the Land & Water Australia Knowledge for Regional NRM Program Bruce led the development and implementation of an Information and Knowledge Strategy process for natural resource management (NRM) organisations throughout Australia. This work included the development of this Information and Knowledge Resource Kit and the conduct of the Knowledge Leaders training which now both continue through the Australian River Restoration Centre (ARRC). The Knowledge for Regional NRM Program won a Platinum Award in the 2008 actKM Forum Knowledge Management Awards.

Bruce has over 18 years experience in the environment and natural resource management (NRM) fields including land and catchment planning and management, biodiversity and native vegetation science and management, communications, community development, knowledge management, research, fire management planning, water and river science and management, and urban NRM.
